Friendsgiving Dinner by Chef Ken ($185~245 per guest)
Chefs Kenneth and Giuseppe will be celebrating Friendsgiving with their interpretation of how Native American and African flavors influenced early America. Throughout this five course dinner we will explore how the fusion of cultures and local crops would create the beginning of American cuisine.
Chef Ken's Friendsgiving Dinner menu consists of 5 courses w/ 4 cocktails:
- Small Plate: West African stew meat over coconut rice | porridge in foie gras broth
- Small Plate: West African chili glazed lobster tail over homemade cream corn and spoon bread
- Palate Cleanser
- Entree: Native American fry bread with cascabel chili, fig and port glazed duck breast in a squash blossom filled with roasted garlic quest and chard tomatillos served with a cilantro and pine nut relish
- Dessert: Sweet potato pave, topped with a crumble of cornbread, cocoa nibs, black walnuts and cranberries served with sun choke ice cream over coffee caramel and pumpkin seeds
*Tip is optional and can be paid directly to the chef at the event. This menu includes mixed drink pairing. Price per person for the entire party is reduced from $245 to $185 with a party of 15 or more.
This menu is available for 6~30 guests. The five course dinner with mixed drink pairing, tableware and servers are included.
Tables, chairs, oven, microwave, cooktop, pots, pans, glassware.
Chef will arrive 2 hours prior to serving time to prep and cook. Upon completion of service, chef and staff will clean up.
